Preservationist/Historian Kevin Brownlow Gets Academy Award

At the Academy Awards ceremony last night, British archivist, film historian, and preservationist Kevin Brownlow was recognized for his many years of contributions. He appeared briefly on stage with fellow recipients of the Governors Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Eli Wallach and Francis Ford Coppola. A fourth honoree, Jean-Luc Godard stayed away.
