National Museum of the American Indian Internship Program
The National Museum of the American Indian, in Washington DC, seeks students interested in gaining museum practice and program development experience to work as interns during four sessions lasting 10 weeks throughout the year. The positions are open to current or prospective graduate students in all fields of study, regardless of citizenship. Applicants must be enrolled in a university program or have completed the program no more than six months before the application deadline. A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or its equivalent is generally expected. Some stipends are awarded on the bases of need and merit; they are insufficient to cover all costs, and are targeted primarily at American Indian, Native Hawaiian, and Alaska Native students. Housing may be provided in the summer session.
