It takes place in September, also in Los Angeles. The symposium covers emerging technologies related to the life cycle of digital audiovisual assets. It includes case studies from the worlds of broadcasting, national archives, studios, and educational institutions. Content creators, caretakers, and vendors present situations they face, and approaches they have taken to address them. Past case studies have included NBC Universal, Warner Bros., BBC Scotland, National Geographic Television, Swedish National Archive, Democracy Now! and WNET.
